On Monday, October 24, voters from across Waterloo Region will have the
opportunity to vote in the 2022 Municipal Election.
The Waterloo Region Association of REALTORS® has partnered with the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce to present a series of municipal election forums with the candidates from across the region.
Housing affordability continues to make headlines across the region and is one of the most important issues for home buyers and their families. The high cost of homes is forcing many millennials, new Canadians, and middle-class families out of the market, and this trend is a major concern for voters. Housing is a key political and economic issue across Canada and locally. We trust the upcoming exchange of policy positions will assist you in making informed choices around your vote on October 24.
